Newbie with a plan - Please assist

Hi,

I hope all you are well.
I am new to BHW and IM, My apologies if this post is in the wrong section.
I am looking for a second income and gathered IM is the way forward and despite me being new to this I have the will and dedication to make this a success and prepared to learn along the way.

There is soo much to read on this site I think i need to book a few days holidays from work just to go through it all!

Ok I require some help/assistance/guidance on what to do next.
I have thought of a niche (well it is in my opinion) so this is what I am thinking;

- Register a domain/hosting
- Find a suitable wordpress template
- Create a website/blog to review this particular products I have in mind
- Register with Amazon Afiliate
- Intergrate the products onto mywebsite that links to Amazon

Does this sound right?

sounds right but you missed something. without traffic, your site will be useless. so you may want to put that somewhere in your list. you have several options.

1. traffic by seo/ article writing
2. traffic by social media
3. traffic by paid promotion

remember that your website is there so that the users can click your link and when they purchase, you get money.

but for starting, your list is about right. if you run into problems, try to fix and figure it out first and if you still cant, ask for help

I forgot to mention that. My intention is to use 1&3.

im afraid i don't know anybody as i do my own seo. i suggest reading phpbuilt's seo guide. just search for it here. Or if you really want to outsource it, you may wanna check the freelancer section or marketplace.

I like your plan, simple and plain. You need to think broadly because using these steps you can't make some good money. Yes the initial things are ok but research more about how people earn money through Amazon, follow their online guides, read inspirational threads and IM journeys that people posted over here. Good luck and never give up.

keyword research is imperative to your success online.
