Hello guys. I did KW research and found a very easy to rank KW. After writing a very detailed 2000 words post on that I published it on my blog with PA 25 and DA15. After two days the post got indexed and got ranked at 20 straight away. Afterwards I posted two or three manual highly relevant blog comments to see where things go. SERP rose to 19. It then started moving in between 20 and 25 (for four days) and finally got settled on 24.

Then I got a no follow link from EXAMINER.com and SOCIALMEDIATODAY.COM from somebody. The content was high quality of-course as they wont allow low quality content. Links got indexed almost instantly but it has been two days since those two links were indexed but no SERP improvements. The post now stands at 25.

I created this thread to get some answers from experts who follow google algos closely.

Has google got slow with SERP updates?
Can I expect to see some improvements in near future?
Am I doing anything wrong here with these links?

Please can somebody answer? and give expert opinion?

You should put your backlinks at sites has high PR such as facebook, twitter, instagram, linkedin...Your links will indexed easier.

It takes 2 weeks to get serp movement.

Calm down and learn patience, doing dumb stuff will only hurt you if you try to force things. Proceed as if it were already indexed and link build.

yep the way to go is build some external links to that specific piece of content which I am assuming is an inner page? Then you will start seeing some movement easy.

Yeah its gone slow, its being out ranked by Yahoo and Bing, both in terms of signals and indexing.

You can't say slow, because I got SERP movement from 200+ to 70's within a week.
In addition, I'd suggest you to carry the method which I've carried out.
Backlinks from High PR sites :)
I've just made a thread too, so that other's can also get a help from it.

The problem is not of getting the content indexed. My posts get indexed in two days or less.

Thanks for the advice. Will do that.

Yes it is an inner page (a blog post) and I already said in the thread that I have built two High authority links and a few comment links

Jumping from 200+ to 70 in a week cant be called very fast SERP movement. You quoted some very nice link opportunities but it will be very difficult for me to get them for each post I try to rank. Thanks BTW.

Two weeks can sometimes look like infinity, so I understand why OP might be impatient ;)
