help. egay/paypal payment - 21 day hold workaround?

Hey guys, i really need some help...

im selling an item i am getting dropshipped from a supplier.

So when i sell it on egay, i recieve payment, pay the supplier, he sends it to the customer, as usual. however!

eGAy has implemented the 21 days rule, whereby they hold the payment until either positive feedback is recieved OR its been 21 days and the customer does not create a dispute.

now there used to be a workaround by simply refunding 0.01 cent or penny and the payment would be released however paypal have now disabled this workaround method...

Was wondering if any one knows ways to bypass this as i need the money the customer pays me in the first place to pay for the goods...

it was if any amount was refunded, the payment was released (ppl usually refunded the lowest amount i.e. 0.01) but im sure theyve disabled that method.

the method is now disabled. Now you have to play with your own money instead of the customers money

I've come to realise, through my own and frends sales on ebay that they do this 21 day hold on suspect fake items...

dropshipping from china?
dropshipping chinese goods?
is your item onebays counterfiet list?

If you held some stock you could have mailed the buyer for fast feedback

man I just pmed 2 people about this similiar thing,lol....bottom line I want the money first so that I can use it to pay for shipping, handling, and, items. My cousin told me they held his money last week, that's how I found out about gaypals new system. He told me any item $100 or over gets put on hold until buyer gets shipment or tracking # i think....

Every thing I sold I gotten the money first...so I am worried my old strategies may not work.

When the auction ends and the user sends payment, has anyone tried to do a full payment refund to the buyer? As in, reverse the transaction...?

Then, simply email the buyer and tell them you screwed up and sent the money back to their PayPal account, and ask them if they could just re-send it.

This might bypass eBay's checkout process, and thus, not get flagged and held.

I could be wrong, but let me know.

If it works at all, I wouldn't count on it to work for long.

only way to get around this ...is a real merchant account...paypal is not a real merchant account there a 3 party processor that holds your funds in there bank account and disburse them to u whenever they feel like it...there not even a bank so they don't even have to follow federal banking laws...that's why its so easy for customers to issue chargebacks and win...anyway...if u want freedom do yourself a favor...get a merchant account.

Really - My solution is common sense but I guess a follow up is needed.

You get feedback in a couple days like me cause I ship priority and your money is available for transfer. BOOM.:yield:

Plus I leave my customers a note with their package to leave feedback so I get feedback all the time. FB is what gets your funds released!

This works - you can have the buyer send the payment to another pp account or google checkout or...

Not sure how many refunds you can do before pp starts to frown upon you

You'd lose tons in fees, just buy a crap ton of those 1 cent e-books on ebay, get your rating to over 100 and you won't have to worry about this anymore.
