I got an email from youtube that one of my video got flagged by yt community, and the next minute my channel got suspended.
I didn't violated any yt terms and im sure of that.
Someone or a team might have intentionally flagged my videos. My channel was clearly in good standing without any copyright issues.
Im stunned not sure what to do.
OK. I've been in your situation.
Competitors will falsely flag your videos all the time to get them taken down. This is something you are going to need to deal with as a YouTuber.
Appeal the strike. Yes, appeals do work. Times have changed, it isn't 2011, they'll answer your appeal within a few days. If your video is legitimately falsely flagged they will reverse the strike. Yes, your traffic will return to normal too and your rankings will be restored.
YouTube CLAIM that they don't take videos down automatically due to flagging but that is a flat-out lie. They do. If your video gets enough flags it automatically gets taken down.
However: If your video is in violation of their TOS then you're pretty much sunk. If you want to have your videos stick on YouTube, you genuinely need to abide by their rules. You don't get to be black hat, because you're dealing with manual reviews here unlike with Google.
There is also a chance that they'll reverse the suspension but leave you with a strike. This is going to seriously hamper your YouTube channel. For 6 months you're going to have some very important rights removed including the ability to have custom thumbnails and you won't be able to monetize videos. Just a warning. But they'll only do this if you have actually violated a rule because your appeal will be reviewed by a human.
