While messing about in one of my Google accounts I discover that some comments I have made about a local attorney (but outside my location) were deleted by Google for being outside their ToS. No profanity, racism, hate, sexuality, etc... I merely offered my opinion that an attorney in a police brutality case was obviously lying about what took place. (His client the police officer beat-up a drunk woman that was in his custody, after first turning off the videorecorder.)

She comes out of the jail in a gurney with two severe black eyes; it's obvious the cop beat her up, violated police procedure, hid evidence, etc... he was fired and the attorney goes on the local TV news to make this HUGE lie about how she "fell down". My basic point is that there are limits to what an attorney can say about, or characterize their client's actions.

They may have some level of responsibility to their client, but they are also an Officer of the Court and they have equally high, if not higher level responsibilities to the community, the court, "justice", etc... And when this attorney tells this obviously HUGE falsehood, he is betraying responsibilities to the community, the court, "justice" etc... and also the lie was told so badly that any prospective client watching him tell those big huge lies would clearly understand that having him for an attorney, telling those big lies that badly, could conceivably make a potential jury inclined to CONVICT his client, simply because the client's attorney is such a bad liar.

Anyways, that's my opinion, I have a right to post it, even if you disagree with it.Discover just now that it's been deleted. The text is still there in my G+ account, but my comments are no longer visible to the general public. So, I put on my official, BHW Local SEO hat and go "Hmmm..... Maybe there's some money here."

Cause it's entirely possible that one of you mugs got paid by that crooked, lying attorney to get my opinions on his incompetence deleted. And so, I'm thinking, Hmm.....

Cause I have a lot of opinions, and can have them about lots and lots of different people, in lots and lots of different places. If one attorney is willing to put effort into censoring my speech, maybe others are too.

Disagree. When a person is accused of a crime, they are 50% guilty already. Juries don't look to prove he's guilty, they look to prove he's innocent. And having a bad liar for an attorney, telling bad lies and lying badly, making the attorney look just as shady and GUILTY as his client, would have a tendency to make his already guilty-looking client even more guilty.

Unless you are sitting on a Jury then your opinion is worthless and has no value, or do you believe you have the right to determine who is guilty or innocent without first hearing the evidence(provable facts)?

Although I get what you're saying, W130SN deserves a little more respect than that. He's generally helpful and has contributed a lot to this forum. He's also great at catching people in lies and doing detective work. I do agree there is a level of standards some upper level members have set but it's understandable considering anything and everything posted on this forum gets plastered all over the web and seen by thousands of people and often times more than that. There are others, such as SkyrocketSEO, who I believe hardly contribute and are constantly trolling or offering useless information. There are many others but I'm not going to throw out anymore names. W130SN is not one of them though.

'Innocent until proven guilty' is not a catch phrase. It is the prosecutions job to prove someone is guilty. Although the legal system is biased and everyone will agree with that opinion, no one is 50% guilty going into court.

No ones opinion should be treated as if it is established fact. Also, being accused of a crime only makes you "50%" guilty in the court of public opinion. Not with the actual legal system.

Maybe there was a business idea somewhere in that OP, but accusing BHW at large for being responsible for Google choosing to censor your comment isn't the way to get a constructive conversation going.

How old are you OP?

It doesn't matter if you agree or not. The fact is that you have no idea how the law or a court works. If a lawyer is proven to be a liar, they are charged and disbarred.

The short version of this thread is that your suggesting a stupid version of reputation management, an industry that is currently filled with experts, not kids with an 'opinion'.
