ORM Case Study: Don't Shoot a beloved lion in Africa

Who said no publicity is bad publicity?

As of now, 6900 live yelp reviews, and 6200 filtered/removed reviews.

He deserves it. He clearly broke the rules.

So if he would have been within the "rules", you would have been fine with him shooting, beheading and skinning a lion for "fun"?

Now this guy really grinds my gears. I love cats and hate people.

he was looking for big pussy to kill

Maybe a review funnel will help... :)

(Nah, it won't. This guy totally deserves it!)

Bunch of hypocrites on Yelp.

"Hey, lets post a comment on Yelp cause Mashable said everyone else is doing it. Lets pretend our voice means something. Lets be part of the history. Lets do what everyone else is doing, because....I hate that guy, he killed a lion. He is a murderer. He should be killed...."

"Apparently, drilling, pulling and ripping out human teeth wasn't enough satisfaction for you...!" - From a Yelp review I found. IT IS HIS JOB TO FIX TEETH OF PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T TAKE CARE OF THEM PROPERLY. Sure, I do not support him but I hate when people try to join the "movement" but isn't related to it - whatsoever.

All the people leaving Yelp reviews on his business page should go get a job. You don't have to agree with what he did,but it wasn't related to his profession or business at all.

Everyone needs to have a "voice" on social media these days to feel validated. Fucking hipster jackasses. Guarantee 98% of the reviews were left by people typing on their MacBook Pro in Starbucks sipping on a soy mochiado-jiza-frapino.

Well, it's one way to gain editorial links from major news sources. Ahrefs Global Rank jumped 24 million and gained 200 links and still climbing. *sits on edge of seat, waiting for domain to drop*

Has anyone hacked the site and put faces of death stuff on about animals attacking people? How about some furry cosplay fetish stuff?

Well, I could not care less that his business gets trashed. Eye for an eye may be the only thing missing here. Fuck what he did trying to explain himself afterwards. Hunting is NO sport it is for pussies, unless of course you take a spear and have the balls to then do this. Any takers?

Dude is mia now. This is prob the most extreme case of social media viral content backlash to date. The other 2 that come to mind is the famous Amy's Baking Company, they seemed to benefit from the craziness, and the hotel that was charging guests for negative yelp reviews.

Yes, people like to jump on a bandwagon. Flash mob ethics.

Tragically, the lion gets more sympathy than the actual people who live under Mugabe's dictatorial thumb.

Yeah, I don't like what he did, but there are bigger fish to "fry" in this world, rather than giving this putz the full bore press of the public's wrath.

For insight on how the locals see this...
