How does Google view this image?

Let's say you upload a picture that is related to a post from your blog on a niche forum. The image is not clickable. However when you right click it you have the option view image and you can see the jpg. file from your blog.

Will Google count this as a do follow backlink?

So, the image isn't a hyperlink? If so, then no. It's not a backlink.

Do you mean as if on here we would be "uploading" an image and posting it?

Well I mean like when you open a thread on another niche forum and upload an additional picture from your blog that is not clickable.
