Fiverr SEO

I've tried a few gigs - not the usual 5000 spam links but a few more legit sounding ones like 10 manual blog comments etc. Can't say it ever did anything for my sites though. Anyone offering thousands of links for $5 should be avoided like the plague. I wouldn't bother with Fiverr for any type of SEO
Thanks for all the replies guys I will stay far away from them then!! My overall knowledge of SEO is very limited this is why I was considering it. I had a good experience from a Fiverr guy before to photoshop me a fake ID for a blocked fake Facebook account verification. Of course that is a completely different thing..

The people making good review for SEO on fiverr are really noob ! I know that because 3 years ago I was that kind of guy... dont forget : you get what you paid, dont hope miracles or even little SERP move for $5 they sell only automation spam, duplicate content and other PR crap, keep your money really !

I have tested a lot of fiverr gigs and found maybe 2 that did some good work. If this is a site you cannot lose, then stay away from fiverr.
But if you are building links to a parasite site, then you can go absolutely wild and get just about anything that you fancy.

You get what you pay for? simple isn't it. Some gigs are good, but most of them are not and just put up for quick money.

This is the balanced way to look at it. The details of your plan matter. Are you working from a solid foundation of low SEO comp keywords, or are you the 10 zillionth person trying to rank for "buy Facebook likes" or "make money online?"
Are the links designed for the site pages themselves, or for tier two or parasite pages? When sorting through gigs on a gig site, do you begin with "quality" qualifiers like "low OBL" or "manual actual page PR/PA" and the like? Do you sort first by "highest rated" or most recommended gigs? With proper sorting and planning, you can find useful gigs, although the total number of quality active gigs per category on Fiverr or SEOClerks may be counted on the fingers of one hand.
Finally, what is called a "spam" link is relative. A generic blog comment on a very high PA/TF page with moderate OBL may help your site more than a relevant contextual comment on a low PA page with low OBL. Total spam or junk links are those with zero relevancy, zero authority and sky high OBL, yet even these may still be useful for getting a page indexed. What your intended purpose is for a SEO gig helps define the value of that gig.

Back when SeNuke was king, and spamming spun article directory posts could rank you for a 10k/ms keyword in days Fiverr was a legit spot for some cheap SEO help. But today $5 won't get you much, and unless you need socal shares, spammy T3 links, blog comments, or maybe low quality fake reviews Fiverr isn't very useful. And all this isn't even to mention the 50 cent surcharge BS they now do.

fiverr is okay for tier 3 links & other menial tasks. As somebody pointed out, there are some low end sellers on here who sell on there also.Easiest way is to avoid low end seo gigs all together. Think quality, not quantity!
