Value of 250k visitors per month?

Hello All,

Im new to monetizing websites, but not new to SEO and marketing.

I currently have an adult website with 250k+ visitors per month and I was wonder what the value of this site was, and how much money I SHOULD be making based on the traffic.

I've monetized with pop ups and some adult ads, and monthly rev is anywhere from $250-400 per month. Should I be doing better based on the traffic?

Any helpful info is appreciated.

I was about to say the same thing. OP, if you need optimizing your $ / visit, let me know, I can help you. Some traffic is bad some is good, just depends what you got.

dont listen to him.. analyze what hes saying.. so basically he gets 5k visitors that make 4 times as much.. so roughly 1600.. the only way he could be making that is by using some sort of cpa or affiliate stuff.. you're trying to make yours strictly off content.. ads and pop ups.. so just look up cpa offers for your niche.. and get a good layout etc.. also if hes making 1600 off 5k visits chances are he doesnt have a content based website like you.. he probably has some landing page with an offer.. its different sending people to a landing page for an offer..and people going to your site to view porn.. if i go to your site to view porn, thats what im going there to see.. not really trying to spend.. because im going there to masturbate (thats the thinking you have to have).. so maybe make categories of porn.. find some of the best videos.. maybe rip them from paid porn videos (ie..bangbros) show maybe the 1st 2mins or a segment thats insane.. and then have link to full video.. which is cpa? take it i dont even do adult stuff.. never tried it but this is my thinking of a marketer.. anyone who is making real money doesnt have time to come in here and brag.. its counterproductive

Hmm, for me, everything below $1000 for a website with monthly traffic you have is unacceptable ;)
 
Personally you're not doing that bad. It really depends on your traffic, if all your traffic is from tier 3 countries then i'd say you're doing a pretty good job. If you need any help analyzing this feel free to PM me, I could use some help from you through SEO myself as well (got a few question related to a few of my sites).
 
Plenty of adult and dating niche offers.
Going by your traffic stats, you should easily get through the CrakRevenue affiliate approval process.

Browse through the offers and find one that you believe will convert well for your audience - depending on age group, country, adult category etc. If this doesn't improve your earnings, there should be something wrong with your traffic or stats.
 
that about 8k visitors a day! you should make a lot more than this if its decent traffic
,you probably have to promote offers a long with placing ads from big networks like exo or juicy etc.
 
With a Adult/Porn site you need to be creative to make some cash .
I don't know what kind of site you have ( video's , pics , stories ... )
Many years ago Google Adsense paid up to a dollar for each download of the FireFox browser.
That was a goldmine , because when the visitor wanna see the video , there will be a small pup-up in the video what see ... sorry this video you can only watch on FireFox browser , so the visitor got send to download FireFox.
When Google stop that , ( promoting FireFox ) I started to do the same thing but then with : sorry your flashplayer isn't updated.
When they click on it ... well you can guess something started to auto download.
And don't be afraid , because we talking about Porn
Make on top of you site like : Movie of the day , nice titel , and you will see hahahha
 
Maybe add more cpm ads? if you add like 4-5 different ones you could stack up the revenue per 1000 views from different advertisers
 
Join a CPA network... 250k monthly visitors? bro you wil get loads of money in no time you could be making an estimate 5 to 10k a month without breaking a sweat

How you can estimate this? without knowing neither the target nor the geolocation of visitors or any other information?
