Received the key and tested out a few sites. The websites are broken to some extent especially if they are contain media, javascript, background images etc. as I noticed. However, I just checked it at my own computer in the browser and probably most of these would be fixed if I upload to a actual server. I am busy for the next few days and would probably test it out and build a few PBNs using it soon. Then I would provide a detailed review. As of now, I am definitely impressed from the initial impressions.
Good luck and hope you bring more features including the replicating existing websites feature in the future.

Glad youve for it installed now. If you see an issue with certain sites then I recommend you use our ticket system as that means I can track it properly.
Vault scraper will download every file, but there's no guarantee that archive.org has scraped every file in the first place. And uploading to server does make a difference, it means no dead links for a start as all 404s are 301s back to the homepage
Oh forgot to mention the update that came out yesterday. Added better UTF8 support for improved output on non-english language sites. Any languages with funny characters should not be encoded correctly if you choose utf8 mode

I have purchased the Vault Scraper and tested it out on one domain so far.
It seems to have grabbed the entire site about 500ish items. It removed the archive.org references in the code which was very helpful. I used to pull the pages by hand and usually had to restructure it to save time, but it left quite a footprint. This tool kept the structure of the site so that the code will look unique. I had some problems with the site being written in .asp but I used http://sourceforge.net/projects/b-e-c/ to change the extensions to .html and Dreamweaver to change the links and it worked out great.
Saved me a good amount of time, I'm sure it is going to pay for itself within 3 or 4 uses with all the time it will save.
I do have a suggestion for a future update. You mentioned that you can run the tool on multiple backup dates, it would be great if I could enter multiple backup date URLs at once and it will save the newest version of each file it finds on all of the different backup dates.
Looking forward to your future updates, I would be interested in knowing what else you have in mind!

As for your problem with .asp files id like to say that's going to be down to your hosting, not vault scraper. Vault scraper will download the site as it finds it. What that mean is that if the site was built using .asp then it will scrape it as .asp!
.asp only works on windows server though and not Linux so if scraping a site which is in asp you will either have to convert like mister don did to enable you to host it on a Linux server or just host it on windows server in the first place

I just saw that there is ticket system it seems at the vault scraper website for existing customers. I cannot see the login information in my welcome email. I am checking my email and can also see the support email details. It would be great if you could sent the ticket/support system login details too for my license.
