Need 2000 visit average per day in 7 months

Is this doable? My buddy just started a new website and has asked me to help generate traffic to the site.

Our goal is to have 2000 visitors to the site per day in 7 months. In order to do this:

-I am going to set up a network of blogs generating links to the site.

-We have created a twitter and facebook page.

-We are going to be doing some email marketing with a list we recently purchase.

-Social bookmark articles that we intend on writing everyday.

-Creating some videos and submitting them to Youtube, ect...

-Coupon websites

-Shopping portals.

**Can anyone think of any other ways to drive targeted traffic to the website. We feel we can easily average 500 visits a day using these methods, however to average 2000 visits a day seems like a huge task.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Thanks for the help, however I probably should have explained more. We need legitimate traffic that will be interested in buying our products. We plan on selling medical uniforms, i.e. scrubs and we need legit traffic.

Once again I appreciate you taking the time to find those threads, however it probably wouldnt help in this case.

use adwords ...
use coupons that give you 50$ ...
make 20-50 different account
and boom u goo...!

Well...if you think 500 a day is easy with that plan....just do that plan four times and you are there.

Very refreshing to see a thread with certainly realistic goals and a strategy, unlike most idiotic threads, anyway as your selling medical uniforms (asumming for dressups, parties etc), then I would definitely concentrate on social media, try and build strong, reputable accounts.
