Today I'm here to share my first method with you guys. I've only been on BHW since November, but since then I have learned a lot. Now that I have finally started discovering, creating, and implementing methods that have actually succeeded I figured I would give back a method to this community. I've tried this method and know it works if you take action.

Step 1: The Basics

Lately there have been a lot of new social networks popping up that are invite only. And there are tons of people craving for invites! Some examples of social networks doing this include beme, dribbble, and product hunt.

Step 2: Getting Started

What you need to do is create a simple site with a content locker. The domain name doesn't matter, just make it somewhat related. I used wordpress and free responsive theme from colorlib. Write a short article talking about the social network or invite. Put a call to action or two in the post. Make it/them stand out. When the call to action is clicked the content locker should open. That is when the visitor should "complete the offer to get the invite". Whether the invite actually exists doesn't matter. Set this post as a static post on the front page.

Step 3: Getting Leads

You can find people who want invites a bunch of different ways. A lot of people ask for invites on Twitter. For the beme app a lot of people are spamming their emails in Casey Neistat's comment section on youtube. Some people head to forums to find invites. There are even some posts asking for invites to some of these sites within this very forum. You could also head the SEO route too. You guys are creative - you'll think of more (and better) ways to do this.

If you're not lazy and put in the work you could make decent money with this. If you're just starting out it'll give you a good amount of money to reinvest in other methods with better returns.

Any additions or questions feel free to comment below.

Great to see someone is watching Casey Neistat's videos as well. Thanks for sharing the method.

That guy has an insane work ethic. It's really inspiring to be honest.

Hmm, this is an eye-opener. Heading over to YT to look at his vids now. Will report back.

Let me know how it goes!

Legit enough in my view. I always find any content worth wanting can be successfully content locked.

Very creative I like it, plus the app is unique and looks promising.

Your method is really nice but I got to be honest with you...I was on the youtube channel for most of time while reading this thread..:p

Casey Neistat is awesome!!

Thanks for both method and providing a great channel !

Regards,

Amazing , but i have question , when you create the website do you make a page for every social network site ? or all in one page ? thank you btw for the method

If you're going to just have one site, I would put them all on separate pages.

How can we find those sites which want an invitation? All those sites OP mentioned was unknown to me. Only invitation based networks I know is ello and tsu. Where do you find those sites that you listed?

Thanks a lot dude. I got my $5 from 3 leads yesterday using this method! Getting leads for the first time ever

hmm....finding invite sites/apps/social networks is a problem... google-fu is not cutting it. i get a lot stuff from 5+years ago. (imagine doing this when spotify was invite only in europe!) seems that most services have stepped away from invites. the only places that regularily have invites seem to be things like (censored*)[i might use that idea]. i would prefer not to use that suggestion, but there seems to not be a lot of buzz about anything new or up and coming that is invite only that people seem remotely interested in. at least, besides beme. pity there isnt a new "pinterest" or something, could make a killing.

any tips on how to search for stuff? my google-fu is not blackbelt level but i am competent. it is rare that i am not able to find what i am looking for.

*edited for horrendous spelling

Check sites like TechCrunch, Product Hunt, and AngelList. Often new social networks (or any product that requires an invite) can first be found one of those sites. Usually way before mainstream media.

You really have to dig for the stuff. The only reason I knew about most of the sites I listed is because I'm in the tech industry and I use most of the sites I listed everyday.

No harm in going after the sites I listed either. Search Twitter for "dribbble invite" and you'll get tons of tweets. Most of the users tweeting that have personal websites in their bio and on their website they have their email.

hey, really appreciate the reply.

came across an invite only site by chance today. currently snooping around your suggestions and they are giving me further ideas.
