The Complete Guide to Starting a Website [2016 updated]

Luka, I have found your guide very valuable and useful but I have a problem.

GoDaddy told me that I have to send them a copy of my passport or my ID or they close my account. I'm really confused, I'm hesitant to give away my personal information.

Does it happen with other providers too?

Confirm it's GoDaddy, they never asked me but I don't really use them. I stick with internet.bs or namecheap.
 
I don't understand one thing why everyone suggests WordPress and not Blogger. I guess Blogger too got all the features including SEO plugins.
