Firefox blocks Adobe's Flash, Facebook wants program killed

Firefox is by far the best browser out.

These days Chrome is bloated, slow, and constantly crashing.

yea, tell this to that 2/3rd who uses chrome instead of any other browser, chrome usage is increasing year by year basically in the same pace firefox decreases, i also like firefox, it's still my preferred browser, but if they don't figure out something fast, they will become irrelevant in the very close future joining to the IE, Opera, Safari trinity
however Microsoft seems to be doing something with Edge in Win 10, it's claimed to be faster than any other browser out there at the moment, their competitors say that too, not just MS, i'll be looking forward to it

The Internet wants to kill Adobe's Flash once and for all.

Mozilla and Facebook, along with other online communities, are joining forces to have Adobe kill its Flash program in order to make the Internet a safer and more proficient place.

The Mozilla Firefox Web browser is the latest to deny any access to Flash. This week, the head of Firefox support Mark Schmidt went on Twitter to announce that all Firefox browsers would automatically block Flash.

"BIG NEWS!! All versions of Flash are blocked by default in Firefox as of now," Schmidt wrote.

Bahaha! That comic is spot on.

FFx has gotten so unstable with Flash, its a cripple. If Flash finally becomes irrelevant, Safari will be the clear winner, on weight, speed and abiity. WTF do we need 20 instances of Chrome mini-processes gumming up Task Mgr?

not sure, but does it matter? it's not like it's using more RAM than FF
i have "only" 7 instances running though
