Question about selling eBay account

Hi

I just wanted to know that if I transferred my account to another third party without it getting shut down or suspended, does this remove me completely from the account?

My biggest worry is that the new buyer will not pay his eBay fees or get in legal trouble somehow and then all that will come back to me ?

Or would anyone here have a better way of selling the account . I just don't want to be the guy to lose.

Any advice appreciated.

Selling eBay account unless it is a b2b transaction is against the rules and your info will be tied to it forever since eBay won't let you change it.

Everything is tracked so if the buyer does anything remotely illegal, you're tied to the account.

That will possibly get your account banned, as buying and selling eBay accounts is against TOS unless it is done as part of a business transaction.

You can change the address and phone number, and your business name if you registered as a business. You can not change registration info.

You can change account name, you can't change what information you registered with.

Realistically though, the chances of you selling an account and you getting in trouble for what the buyer does with the account is pretty slim, as long as there is no paper trail of funds from nefarious activity flowing to you.
