Should I stop buying likes, comments, and Youtube Views?

Hi,

My day started off disappointing when I woke up this morning it turns out a major video campaign I was running with a Youtube video took a hit. I am no longer on the front page of Google with my video even though I am sitting at number one in Youtube. However, something great happen out of all this it turns out the video that replace me was a video from last year with only 1 view, no comments, no likes, no social signals . But how is it managing to get on the front page of Google? Then I realize something could it be because of off-site SEO with his video? Maybe they did a Backlink campaign that is the reason they may have been put on the first page of Google? I am going to ask you this should I just stop buying views, likes, and social signals, and just focus on video seo and off site seo? Because my primary goal is to rank on the first page of Google(psst that is where the money is at!!!) I really do not care about youtube rankings.

Thank you for your reply Ranksonic! From this day forward I decided that I will not be buying anymore likes, comments, or social signals for youtube which can save me dollars, and and frustration in the future

I don't think purchased views have anything to do with your video position on Google.
You should check your backlinks profile.

Google has space on its front page for videos, but it can be tricky because Google look for videos to meet certain criteria. Generally, videos that have been optimize for Google search engine get put on the front page. Google also tends to favor video titles that have words such as review, how to, tutorial, and anything sports related. Optimizing your video with proper keyword research, video descriptions,tags, and Backlinks(which has become apparent to me) is essential to rank on the first page of Google.
