Idea to make Money off line

Hello all,

I was out biking today and had an idea for a way to make some extra funds when out and about. No idea if this would work or not, but thought I would toss it out to you, as some of you are cleaver and could spin it.

Requirements:

• A company you can have people sign up and take surveys threw (or a CPA).
• A lap top or tablet that can get internet (*hot spotted to your phone)
  • Not 100% required, but could increase returns
• Bottles of water or candy bars.
• A sign saying Free "Water (or Candy) - Ask me How?"

Setup:

• Find a busy place or a park, places were people walk, and may or may not have money with them.
• When someone asks you for a free water, say all they need to do is complete one offer (like a survey or download a game to their phone) >5 min of work.
• Hand them a piece of paper with a shortened URL to your offer page, or a tablet with the offer on it.
• Say before you hit the submit let me look at it, or even walk them threw it.
• Then when they submit the offer, you give them the water or candy or whatever (*Prehaps a Dollar?).

Notes:

• Water and candy is cheep
• Returns on the CPA offers are much higher.
• A busy place and Handouts could generate good traffic on a hot day.

Again, no idea if this is a valid or doable, but it is an idea.

I really don't think it would work, but nice out the box thinking.
You should give it a try, get some cheap business cards made up with the survey url
Make it a mobile offer, you don't want to get mugged for your laptop, get them to complete the offer on their phone and show you before submission.
If they don't want to complete the offer then sell them the water/candy at a profit.

I think it's good that you're thinking 'out of the box', but I don't think this particular thought is worthwhile acting upon... keep the ideas rolling, and you'll find something to build a good income

Lol, Yea, like I said it was an idea that I had that prehaps someone could take and run with. Myself, I dont have the time for that, however its the concept of giving a physical reward offline for an online action.

The idea came to me when I saw 2 boys who were young sitting the sun trying to sell water for a dollar, then down the road a bit more, someone was doing one of those surveys with clip boards. People do take surveys - prehaps if the offer was good it would be worth the time.

Just had to say these are pretty successful at events. We had a job fair and someone actually did the with an ipad attached to the table. Good idea yo. I think I want to try this

Except then all your survey submissions come from the same device/IP, and you don't get paid for any of them.

Another weird trick: Just print a short URL(CPA game offer) with the text "best android game ever" 1000 times and stick that in traffic lights. You'll get some downloads while it lasts.

I don't think this would work IMO. A lot of people are very skeptical these days and wouldn't want to do some "offer" to get free candy/water or anything for that matter. I don't think they'd have the time to sit there and do one either.

Not sure your give idea will work or not. But want to try your method.
