Let us say that someone finds about a clickbank product through my link ...

then they do some research for 5 days

5 days later they come back to clickbank, they go directly to the checkout page and buy

do i get any credit for that sale or naw? are the cookies tracked saying that 'juicemane told me about the product' ... so he deserves credit?

please advise. im not sure if cookies is the right term.

I've read cookies will last 30-60 days. Try going on a different PC, go to your landing page, click through to the offer page and make sure your affiliate user is there. Then wait a couple days, do exactly what you said on that same PC and see if your affiliate still pops up

The cookies will last about 30 days as long as the buyer does not clear cache/cookies on their PC. So yes you still get the sale.

Well I actually didn't know that :)

However; that creates another question:
Lets say "X" person is a subscriber of two lists; both the lists are promoting same product. He went to the site two time through the links of each of the list. Then the third time, that person directly visits the site and buys the product. Which affiliate will get the credit for that sale.

[Just curious to know :) ]

The last affiliate cookie placed is the one that gets paid.
