What counter should I use for wordpress to analyse traffic?

Where can I find a great traffic counter to analyse traffic?
My primary source of traffic is from pinterest.

Jetpack and kstats have been tried, I don't like them.

Any suggestions?

Well there's the one built in for wordpress. If you don't like those, then obviously you can go with g analytics.

statcounter or piwik on your server.
but piwik might slow down your page loading time on the tracked site if your piwik server isn't optimised.
that's what's happening to me on 2 digitalocean servers.

Server A -> piwik
Server B -> wordpress

wordpress gets slowned by a lot because it's loading shit from server a. it's probably because of lack of caching.
