What would you use these domains for?

I have a friend who is a plumber. We both have been looking into building separate PBNs. He came across a website for a plumber. That website has many links to other plumber websites( it looks like they link to each other for a mutual benifit). They have about 50 links to other plumbers in different states and cities. There are about 10 links that are "broken" because the domains expired. The reffering website has a PA/DA of about 20/20 and TF/CF of 19. The expired domains seem to have about the same with TF ranging from the teens to low 20's.

1.Assuming the backlink profiles are fine (I looked at 2 and they were clean, although i have not gone thru them all) would you build a PBN with them? It seems it would be a little weird to make a PBN of them since they are other independent plumber websites, then again this makes them relevant.

2.Would a 301 direct be better? I dont know to much about 301 but I feel that would be too many 301's.

3.I am also thinking it would be a bit risky since the referring domain would probably eventually notice its not the same site anymore, or would it not matter if they removed the link from the site?

4. Is this a great find? Or is it just about as valuable as finding any other doamins (non relevant) with the same specs?

301 will be the lowest effort for the biggest reward.

If your competitor is linking to these sites and you 301 them, he is basically linking to you. Very powerful links...

Thanks for the info Hughes. Indeed a local competitor is in these links. As for 301ing, would that be a red flag for G especially if i do 10 plus of them?

Anyone have input on using them for a PBN? And how you would go about utilizing the domains since they were real company websites for the exact industry/business

Great find! but make sure you dont build up a domain to later find out that the domain name is registered as a business or copywritten. The business can then at any time seize your domain or claim some copywrite infringement.

Oooh man, thats some scary shiet. Can they still do this if it seems they are obviously out of business?

Does their history still have some plus of using them for a pbn since its relevant to the niche...or exactly on point the same specific niche?

Sounds like a once PBN ran by a SEO company for a plumber client... the reason why it was abandoned would be either the group of domains were penalized or client they work for discontinued the service contract.

I thought about that, but it just doesn't seem set up that way. It looks like companies coming together and creating a link page on their websites to benefit mutually. Especially since i can see some of the companies involved are well known.

You can use it as PBN mate. It's better than 301...
