.edu Subdomains?

Sooooooooo......I got my hands on some edu sites. Yup. I was thinking about offering a service to those in need -

I was thinking something like I would have people p a y x amount for x amount of anchor text backlinks from the subdomain to your page(s) per month - you basically r e n t space on the subdomain or b u y the whole subdomain.

I would have 3 levels of that - or so...each higher price but more features...

The 4th level would be your own wordpress install and ability to autoblogg and anything else you wanted to do to your hearts content for XXX a month.

I have not s o l d this yet, but I have the whole thing built and ready to go. I have also tested this with several different keywords with different degrees of difficulty in ranking them - it works well on both - a little faster on the non compete words.

What would BHW p a y for this service? What would you guys s e l l it for?

I will make sure if I do s e l l it to discount BHW members - I need to build some rep before doing that as well - so if anyone wants to help out with the rep that would be cool too.

Can you imagine owning educationxxx edu - or scholarshipsxxxx edu and then running those offers? Linking back? Autoblogging hundreds of links to your sites - anchor linking with smart links to all of your sites....just imagine!

Anyways, this is going to happen for sure, so I wanted to see what you guys thought about pric ing and ideas for it - since I value your opinions and all...

I currently do something very similar. I sell .EDU blogs via my blog. It seems quite in demand and I have had a pretty positive response from people.

I think if you go for it people will definitely be interested.

Man the results are killer - the thing I figure is that there will be differentr levels of use and pay depending on a users need. A power user like me would hit the autoblog option and spam that like nuts with links - others would be content with a few anchor links.

We will also be selling a service where we call all of your competitors for a keyword and offer them a link exchange onto the edu site for an exchange to the site you have service with us - then you get all the top sites in your niche to link back to your new site and blam - 1st page big gggg.

Yea I do a couple of options, 1 is a blog with full control and I do promotion (including lots of incoming links from different .EDU sites) and add unique content.

Then I provide just a blank blog with access for the user to do all the work. And finally I sell just links/posts on blogs that I use for my own purposes.

Anyways like I said the demand seems pretty good and people seem pretty happy to have these blogs.

That's pretty similar to what I was thinking - I have 8 of the edus - what kind of prices would you consider good for me and for the customer?

I found an .edu site PR 2 where you can make your own blog. With do follow links. You can promote articles with your anchor text as your keyword, comment and etc. Is this worth something ? Thanks

Thats not bad - there are many around - what I am taking about here is even more control over it than a site you do not own.

Real .edus - not the free bs out there - pr higher than 4 on all of them. University type sites....
