Because most of the forums require mods to approve your thread/post. This is normal if you are a new user, but once you have reached xx amount of posts (which varies on every forum), your thread/post will be automatically approved.

Thats why I wasnt planning on posting my review site on my sig. My goal is to post it on a blog WITHIN the forum. Most forum allows personal blogs if I was to use my sig to point to the blog and then have my blog talk about the progress of my work then eventually leading to the review site.
Its more work but I believe it will work.

Ok so I tried to promote a new product and immediately it starts saying on clickbank that my link has expired. Anyone having this problem?

Yup that happened to me today actually, some vendors will blacklist your IP if your conversion ratio sucks, I think there are some that have a 2 week rule where if you dont get any sales you get blocked.
All you can do is switch your product.

Check the vendors affiliate page. Some vendors require that you first get approved (white-listed) before you can promote products, and that is why your hoop links don't work.

Maybe this questions has been asked before, if so I apologize in advance:
Instead of reviewing several products within a niche(i.e: weight loss), which it seems everyone is doing, what if I were just to review one or two products in complementary niches? For example a weight loss product, a skin care product, a diet product etc.?
It seems double edged to me. For instance, you might lose (the illusion of) "impartiality" or objectivity that the typical review site has because you're just pushing one product instead of "reviewing" several, but maybe it's better for cross selling. If someone clicks your link and sees a review to the Venus Factor and she is already familiar with it, it's almost certain that she won't buy any other weight loss products from you. But maybe something in another category that they're not familiar with will catch their eye.
Any thoughts?

Hi, I have been reading this thread for 3 months or more, and I used it to build CB sites in spanish niche. I got just 6 sales in about 2 months, and I have another amazon niche site where I got about 180$ in affiliate sales already. Consider that spanish people are not fond of using cc and it is a lot harder to sell. I am not a fan of manual work, but it is worth it,if you are consistent and write good opinions where you post, you will be rewarded.
A while ago(about 5 years ago) I used to sell flags and my girlfriend used to write comments in forums, yahoo answers and blogs. I was making consistent money every month and I even received organic traffic as a result. However, prices went up and could not sell them anymore, but the idea was the same as this, and I can tell everyone that it works.
I suggest everyone to take the time to make a good site and work on the content, graphics, open social accounts, and structure well your categories before you send traffic, because you will be wasting a lot of time if you dont. And take a look at silos and how to get your site structure in a way the search engines feel familiar with.

Wow! I just completed reading the whole 92 pages. Almost 20-30 hours of reading! I am now in a dreaming stage and I do dream about that day when I post my first sale story. Thanks for all those who inspired me, especially Freddy and Mathew Of course. I made a note including the best comments in the first 50 pages or so. Do you can add links to blog comments section using HTML tags, or just by pasting the link URL in blogger comments section?
