Instagram + Teespring Journey (multiple goals)

I'm starting this topic for various reasons.

1. First and foremost i'd like to keep my progress somewhere
2. Second, if i succeed - you will have a point of reference
3. Third, i would appreciate any advise and tips

So the basic goal is to sell niche t-shirts on teespring using Instagram
Initial setup:
I have a personal account in a niche currently at 5891 followers.
What i do is run follow/unfollow routine everyday for at least 500 followers. More when i can. I have a 50% followback rate.
I target followers of influencers in my niche.

What i already did:

1. Yesterday i launched a campaign on teespring
2. I created an "official" account for my t-shirts. So it would look to come from place of authority.
3. I also created an "offer" for my followers

What my goals are

1. Grow my personal/niche account as much as possible. First milestone is 10k. It is numbers account.
2. Increase engagement rate. Current milestone is 4% (from 3,4%)
3. Grow my second "official" account. This is highly targeted account
4. Sell AT LEAST 3 (printable amount) t-shirts during this campaign

What i will do

1. Same routine for personal account
2. For my "official" account i will get highly targeted followers only. I will also comment and like on each of them

Personal account followers: 5891
Official account followers: 4

In a couple of days, when i have more followers on the second acc, i will give it a s/o from my first acc and see what happens.
Everything is done manually, no botting what so ever.

I do have a question though, apart from posting high quality content, what else are you going to do to increase your follower's engagement?

First off i will try some obvious things that i researched. For example bright pictures > dark pictures.
But what i really want to do is try to employ influence psychology techniques which should be universal by definition.


Small update: posted a girl. What do you know...Engagement rate for that pic instantly jumped over 4%.

damn, I was going to try teespring when I reach 10k. how many orders you aimed for and what was the outcome?

I had a nice T-Shirt design (paid somebody to do it) and posted the Shirt several times. The pictures with somebody wearing the Shirt got over 2k likes and over 100 comments but nearly nobody actually purchased it. I dont want to stop you from doing your thing... my experiences just werent that good

If you have a large following, you can do other things when teespring doesn't work in the end. So go for it!

I see. Good to know. If i fail, i will analyze the outcome and try again untill i will get it right.
Have you thought about why didn't you do well? Maybe your price was too high?
Anyway, i don't expect much as i stated my intial goal is to get the campaign to 3 sales.
At least i do my own design and don't have to pay for them.

All I did was take a successful CPA (pps) campaign and made a similar product out of it using my own resources. Took me months to do this properly but was worth in the end.

Do you market your product on your Instagram account? It depends on the niche though.

1 Day after topic start

Main(personal) account: 6211 (+320)
"Official" account: 96 (+96)
Engagement rate: on last 2 pics it was 4%

I found out that my initial approach to "official" account, to highly target followers, was very time consuming in impractical. Maybe later in the game, but not now. So i started the following routine on it too.
The engagement rate boosted to 4% and i didn't do anything to improve it. It's too soon to tell though. Need more pics to verify it's stable.
