I want to promote clickbank product through you-tube videos!

Do you think youtube accept shortned clickbank links in the description?

Of course. Just use a shortener that allows CB links.

Yep. Seen them ugly ass hop links all around before.
Follow I-Marketer's advice and use a link shortner, just dont use bit.ly.
They'll mark it as spam after a while and your hops will go down until you fix it.

I want to use this method, and plan to send the Youtube traffic to my 'associated website' by placing a link in the annotation. I will then attempt to collect their email once they land on the squeeze page.

Is there anything in the above plan, that is against Youtube's 'Terms and Conditions.'

I would like to avoid getting my account terminated.

No. Of course thats ok.
Its not against youtube's terms at all.

You can replace your link with website like adfly,bitly and other shorten link website so it will not create any problem.

Yes that is ok, and I do have affiliates raking in over $1,000 daily just from sending visitors directly from YT to my products, BUT you will get better conversions if you send to a landing page first and that's what top affiliates do. A landing page will easily boost your conversions 2-3 fold.
