Linking between money sites

Hi, I've got a quick question about backlinking.

I am creating some amazon affiliate sites and was wondering if it is a good idea to link between your money sites, in some kind of blogroll? As surely it is reasonable for a content creator with several sites to want to pass their viewers on to their other sites. Why would search engines have a problem with this?

Why would you want visitors to leave your site and visit your other affiliate sites? Isn?t the idea, plain and simple, to get them to click your affiliate link and thus to buy?

I do not think Google got a problem with interlinking, as long as it make sense and is beneficial to visitors; more than a few sites that I know off do it.
For example; if you have a site selling houses, and another selling furniture, and another that installs carpets, and another that install swimming pools, then it makes completely sense to interlink, because it definitely might be beneficial to the consumer/visitor.

If your sites are similar to my example and it will be beneficial to your visitors then do it?

But it might not be a good idea to do it for link juice?

At the same time, affiliate links and thin content penalties go hand in hand. If you get a penalty on one site Google might decide, without even looking, that all your interlinked sites need the penalty

My Quick answer is: I wouldn't do it. Especially not with sidewide ones...it doesn't bring enough SEO impact to risk it. Unless your sites are loaded with quality content and are hosted on completely different profiles.
