I assume you're talking about GSA SER as I've never heard of them having a dedicated wiki poster. Anyway the difference is, that they support way more platforms (i.e. social bookmarks, web 2.0, article directories, etc.) while we specialize in wikis only. That's why we're able to achieve better success rates == more successful wiki posts.

I am having weird problem with this program. When I start registering, it registers on almost 45 sites. Then confirms emails for almost 17 websites, the posts to less than 10 websites. Finally I get less than 5 alive links. Don't know whats the problem.

It seems that engines needs update to many failed for registration, posting and link verifying.And all captcha that return are bloob even with clean ip i have test some other software and recaptcha was good.

It's still working pretty well. I can get 500+ links out of it with my configuration. But yes, it needs a few updates - we're working on WikiRobot 2.0. As for the captchas all being blobs - that's what ReCaptcha is returning to SocialRobot - not much we can do here. In my experience that happens when too many captcha requests are sent in too short period of time from the same IP. The issue should go away by using scheduler and drip-feeding posts slowly (hence less captchas are being solved in the short amount of time) or by using proxies.

What I'm currently getting is 172 verified links out of WikiBase. It's not very good, I admit, but it's definitely not 50.

Now, it's not that simple. The success rate is bad compared to what? Some other tool? The main problem is that majority (and by that I mean like 90%) of wiki sites have gradually closed down to public registration and posting due to spam. We have also observed some sites implementing advanced anti spam techniques that can't be beaten by a software. Finally there are some sites that now require 5 edits before allowed to post new articles which would significantly slow down WikiRobot. If you have a site(s) that you know that should in fact work with WikiRobot, but don't, please send them our way and we'll analyze them and see what can be done about the issue.
