Fiverr 'processing fee' of $.50?

this is what happens to these companies, they get to complex, greedy and they overheads get to high.

and yes my orders have dropped

It seems they're not happy with the INSANE 20% fee they take from the sellers.

So . . . what's happening here ? ? ?

Are we going to see a rapid decline in Fiverr transactions.

Oh my Can this be the end.

Is there any way out of this . . .

If this is the end for Fiverr . . . What's next

You're getting work done that used to cost hundreds for $5. Stop being cheapskates and pay the damn 0.5 fee.

And just when I was thinking of joining Fiverr to do gigs. :(

Quick check though and here are 10 alternatives:
1. FiverUp
2. GigBucks
3. Zeerk
4. SEOClerks
5. TenBux
6. Dollar3
7. Tenrr
8. Fourerr
9. RoundShelf
10. The author forgot to include a 10th one.

Yeah, I copied the list from an article after doing a Google search, but does anyone know of any glaring problems w/ these alternatives that would make them something to not look into from being a gig provider standpoint? Why shouldn't I just join all of them and let the traffic come from where ever it comes from?

Hi Mate,

Better you check for "What they are providing..!! If they are charging then i am sure they are going to provide some security kind of things... Like elance/odesk are providing.

If there is nothing like that then search for another platform.... No need to invest money.

Ordering a banner graphic today on Fiverr and there was a $.50 'processing fee' tagged on in the checkout. I tried another gig just to see if it was something unique to the gig I was ordering and I got the same $.50 'processing fee' charge. Am I taking crazy pills or is this a thing now?

Nope, they screw you with this on EVERYTHING now.

Damn, that's just rude. Well, it's time to look for other websites like that. Or you know, someone could start one...

This ^^ with people getting mad at Fiverr for doing this, someone should jump in and create a new one

I've only been on Fiverr for 3 months and I was surprised they not only took 20% ($1 from every $5) that they also make the $0.50... I assumed they always had the 50 cents but I was surprised that for a $5.50 order they get $1.50 and the person doing all the work gets $4.00. I know they have the platform but it def sucks for sellers and buyers especially if the 50 cents is a more recent addition!

Is this on the buyers side? Because on the seller side they take a full $1.00 off of the gig. You're really doing gigs for $4. Then it can take a month to see that money. Its ridiculous. I would like the site a lot better if it was quicker at processing the fee.

actually it's "only" 14-17 days and yes, the $0.5 mentioned by OP is paid by the buyers
