EBay have one of the worse customer support I have come across. It like talking to a brick wall with them. I got banned for something that was not my fault too. I had to set up stealth accounts to start selling again, sadly this is not an option for you.

It absolutely is an option, I just don't want to give up on an account with 12,000 feedback.

This is why I get very worried selling on ebay. Why I am worried selling for others too. That chargeback thing is plain crazy. the companies and cc owners aren't held liable for anything. Had a chargeback and they took $20 for fee on top of it, ever since then been scared. It's simply not safe as a little guy

It gets worse, the guy who got fucked over is a really nice guy. He has been so appologetic and sorry over the issue I can't feel bad towards him. Spent 6 hours with him today making sure everything gets sorted. I never knew him before this, hes a good guy.

PayPal on the phone today told him/us that due to their service agreement they do not offer seller or buyer protection for vehicles. Because of this if anyone in the world ever puts a claim in for a purchase of a vehicle they will immediately be issued a refund no matter what. It's so stupid....

On a normal case paypal will issue a refund when the item has been posted back to the seller, on a vehicle they don't care. It's just automatic refund.

I cannot believe this. I really am at a loss and feel real sorry for the guy.

This is why it's so important TO KNOW THE PAYPAL/eBAY RULES! Because the scammers are very well versed in it.

Also, it was dumb to accept that big of a payment in a method that can ever be reversed. Bank wire, cash, or western union should have been the only payment he should have accepted.

It will get WORSE. Now you will have eBay police and Paypal police and what they will shut you down for will double.

I think this comes to prove that with EBay nothing is safe. People could have perfectly legitimate accounts and still get limited/banned.. Even with zero negative feedback..

I think in the long run it's about to get a lot harder running stealth accounts due to the fact that eBay has some self interest in allowing kicked off people to sneak back on if the product is good and you're not scamming people vs. Paypal's self interest will be to outlaw all stealth accounts to keep the banking regulators happy.

eBay fucked me over big time when someone scammed me for a used ps3 back in the day. Filed a police report, provided information, everything was ready to go until eBay /shitpal slapped me and said NO HELP FOR YOU! After attempting to investigate further I was contacted by a "representative" of Paypal explaining to me over a 3 minute phone call (being reminded that their time was too valuable for me every 15 seconds or so) that I was responsible for losing the product, that they would keep the fees taking from the transactions, that the transactions were final and irreversible. When I even mentioned about the police file they simply said it was not their concern. Ever since that day I do not sell on eBay, ever. When Amazon introduced Amazon Payments I got excited, even though the platform is with major flaws. I hate Paypal, will never do business with them again unless I have no choice.

Ok guys,

I need a UK stealth account. Are there any services out there which can help?

I've lost 70% of my revenue. Amazon is ok to sell on but the volume is nothing like ebay.

I'm going to have to lay a guy off unless I fix this in two weeks. Ebay have destroyed my business.

I've not paid myself since this issue happened, I'm still barely able to pay bills from revenue. I'm eating into our cash reserves every day just to survive.

What happened with this guy was that the first two items I sold for him were fake. Got strikes on my account for them. Then he was refusing to ship before payment.

Why ship before payment? if you are legit it's in the sellers interest to keep selling for you. but if you are a scammer you can tell someone to sell something on ebay, pay you THEN you "ship". No guarantees on what you ship for the seller. But he started saying next would be bitcoin and I must pay before shipped etc. Far as I could tell he was setting me up and I couldn't be sure the "buyer' was a real buyer and not just some stealth account. (i.e. scam buy having a fake buyer, "ship" to the buyer then have them start a case or chargeback after you get your money")

Was all too shady for me and I can't afford that crap. Didn't help I had a slew of low feedback accounts lurking

I have sold for someone else here as well, 2/3 buyers started cases and the third time I had already sent him his money. guy refused to help with return. luckily the buyer lost the case. I tried to use paypal protection in that case to get my money back from habib but I lost those so real lucky the buyer didn't win. I suspect most of the buyers were stealth accounts of his.
