You have no idea what you are talking about.
You can do it with keywords which have search volume > 1k as well, provided you know enough about On-Page SEO and internal linking.
The competition does indeed have to be low, but low competition does not always mean keywords with virtually non-existent search volume.
Therefore, you need to be GREAT at keyword research before you attempt this.

Yeah, but you probably will not manage to rank a free blogspot blog or some shit like that without links. So just don't be lazy and build links.

yep bro, having good content for low competitive keyword will boost our SERP.
but no idea for the medium or high competitive keywords. hope there is no chance to rank those keywords.

check out BHW marketplace, there are some sellers that provide nice low competiton keyword packages. Nice content + interlinking is a way to go.

You can rank without backlinks, it's about traffic and bouce rate of visitors, also how much they stay on site, that's all ranking factors. i saw website without any good backlink ranking for movie keywords #1. But when u go to site you see that people watch movie directly and stay on site for 1 hour and more.

Traffic and bounce rate have nothing to do with it. Backlinks have more "weight" in the algorithm as well as on-page SEO and many other things. That website you checked either had hidden backlinks or perfect on-page with good internal linking.

Of course backlinks and onpage seo is important nobody said it isn't.

The next obvious option would be to find a keyword with 100 to 200 searches per month and rank for it. This would not be too tough and somewhat is similar to the above zero competition category. The key difference is that the focus is on volume rather than competition.

I am a strong believer in quality content and you should be too. I have seen websites that are written so well and have very few backlinks rank well. Now, I rarely have seen someone building one of these sites rank in the top 10 specifically, but generally they do get traffic.
