Your best start is to join a CPA network and a pick up a couple email zip submit offers. They tend to pay lower than your average offer but you can build up some experience with these.

affiliate marketing is a way for you (the affiliate) to earn a commission for recommending products or services to your friends or readers.
To simplify it, here's the 4 step process for how it works:

1. You find a product you want to promote
2. You sign up for their affiliate program
3. You get a special link that allows the merchant to track the people who clicked your link
4. If they buy the product, you get a commission.

Depends what your skills are. If you have a lot of social media followers you can start by registering for various affiliate programs and writing product reviews posts inserting links.

Below are three good affiliate sites you can get registered with. Registration is quite strait forward. I'm unfortunately not allowed to post URLS on the forum yet so I will list the names of the affilate programs below (Just google them):
Amazon Affiliate Program
Commission Junction
Shareasale


Once you are registered you can poke around their product offerings and get ideas around products you may be interested in already. This makes it easier to write reviews since you already have a good working knowledge on the products. CJ and Shareasale require that you be approved by the companies offering commissions before you can make the links. Just apply for a bunch, most will approve you unless they are a high end trendy brand.

You can then build out a product review site fairly quickly using a premade review template in wordpress. Hosting and a domain will cost you less than $40 and you can find decent wordpress themes for free.

There's a really good udemy course that goes through the whole process of building a product review site with affiliate links from start to finish. Just Google "shaune andre udemy" and you'll find the course.
