Best (self-hosted) alternative to Wordpress (not considering Joomla and Drupal)

Hi, I'm interested to know about good alternatives to Wordpress, that I can install on my own server.

I'm not considering Joomla and Drupal, they don't suite me.

It is best to work out what you need, what you are trying to achieve then look for a CMS that fits the bill.

I need it for simple blogging, for start, but I would like it to have the option to be upgrated to a full blown CMS.

I have never used it but I think others on BHW have said it is a good option/alternative to WP.

There are several alternatives that exist.
You can try b2evolution. It is a nice blogging platform
But can you tell why you don't want wordpress?

I will probably use Wordpress, since it suits my needs the best!
But I just wanted to know if there are any alternatives.
