can some one answer this please i too am looking for method in concurrence with the new updates

Just keep playing around :)
I think it maybe the service you are using is perhaps not giving high retention views?

Truthfully not much has changed in regards to ranking videos.

What has changed is WHO YOU USE to rank your videos. You mentioned purchasing 10k views. they probably arnt as high quality views or geo-targeted views that you think they are.

Quality>Quantity when it comes to views, likes, comments, subs ect. Keep longevity in the back of your head at all times.

Used the same service before and ranked so its not that :)

my point exactly. low quality views may have worked before but they wont work now. Change & test your view provider. I'm ranking videos just fine.

Back in the days I just used big buddy's views and get ranked 100%. But now I also tried with Big Buddy's views and I can't get ranked.. Any help tho? :S

For competitive keywords you need views, likes, comments, social shares constantly.

Ranking based on title and description optimization, so look it your keyword and optimize according to your competitor video.

Just upload the video then keep messing around with the description and shit until it ranks. I ranked one today for a 2 - word keyword that's full of 1-3 year old videos and I out ranked them apart from 1, currently second. I'll throw some social signals at it and some blog comments then maybe a high PA web2.0 linking back to keep it there.

Do you realise that youtube will fu*k you in the ass if you keep buying views? Youtube isn't stupid and when they see a massive boost in views then a big drop of it raises red flags. Then your next video and next video and next video etc gets less and less attention. Do you think youtube doesn't notice a massive rise in views but fu*k all other engagement(shares)...The more you boost the more Youtube ignores you. Your channel basically turns to shit. So you will be ranking fine at the start then 3+ months later you will be asking why you don't rank anymore.

If you must use views then use super high USA retention views on drip feed. Anything else and you're are screwing yourself over. Drip feed under 1000 a day, slow and steady wins the race.

In all honestly op if you were spamming views and now it's hard to rank I imagine it will take some work to get into Youtubes good books again.

Here are some rankings from couple of click bank videos I've uploaded in the last 5 days. No view boosting no backlinks no shares... just optimized and tweaked titles and descriptions. I might hit them with some social shares in a couple weeks but that's it. The youtube channel has 0 subscribers, brand new channel.

That's interesting, if you don't mind me asking, how long do you give each video (to rank) before changing the description & do you change the title as well?

I usually see my videos start to get positions after about 10mins of uploading. I leave it over night then if it hasn't move I mess around with the description then leave it for a few hours and just keep doing that until I get where I want to be. I follow the positions closely.

For example I had one jump from 27 to 8th then drop back down to around 25. So I now know I can hit the top page, I just tweak until it sticks. I usually hit keywords that have videos with shitty optimisation etc.

Although i partially disagree with you on some points in both the posts but thanks for your GREAT advice and i have some Questions:-

1.What tracker are you using to check those rankings? Looks nice ..
2.How competitive are the videos which you are ranking for ? My ones have 300k Videos sitting on them ..
3.Never saw profits from CB specific vids on YT although they bank highly if rank #1 on G ,whats your opinion?

Looking forward to your answers :)

Not sure why you would disagree. If you look at the numbers near the bottom of this image and compare them to the ones at the top you will see that they went from 19 and 21 to 3 and 5. It also hit 1st for another keyword I added. That's a big change in a short amount for time, just from messing with the description.

Also includes the other tool I use

2. Competition is easy- medium. I've only ranked for keywords with max video has 200k views, Haven't tried anything higher, but I'm sure I could give it a good whirl with social shared and tweaking.

3. I do ok with Clickbank but I do better with other affiliate networks. I promote software, dog training stuff, health products. all sorts really.

Youtube is full of shit when they say they use views/retention and engagement as the biggest factor. If that was true then you wouldn't see videos with no engagement but awesome descriptions ranking. It would also give an unfair is advantage to the people trying to build up channels who are starting out. The algorithm take 100s of things info factor and the descriptions is one of the biggest ones, descriptions and transcripts are the only way youtube knows what the videos about. I'm not saying views and stuff don't help because they do but the algorithm would be just plain broken if it ranked videos just off engagement. Anyhow messing with tags, titles and descriptions seem to work for me.

I ran a test not long ago. 2 videos, one with a good description and one with an average description that I didn't optimise the best I could. The good one ranked like a boss.. I then tweaked the second one after a few days to something similar to the first one and it started to move up the ranks. The more Youtube can understand about the video the better. I usually focus on just one keyword, If i throw in a bunch of keywords Youtube doesn't know what to do with it and just starts ranking it for shit I don't even want to rank for.

Apparently location also matters. I always change my IP to a USA one if that helps. You can also change the location in settings but then it becomes a local video if you do it that way.

Another theory is if you upload videos from multiple locations so one from USA one from UK one from Australia etc. This gives your channel authority and youtube pays more attention to you. Whether this is true or not I don't know, apparently this contributed to Pewdiepies domination because he was traveling and moved to a few different countries during the start of his rise.
