Good Explanation about FL Needed

I've seen a few people asking for a good explanation about what's happening with the Instagram algorithm and why likes/follows are dropping off. I'm running FL on about 2,000 likes per day, and I used to get about 200 followers (on a 30K account), and a ton of interaction. Now I'm lucky If I get 50 followers a day, and interaction has really dropped off.

If you can explain this in an eloquent fashion, I'd really like to hear from you. All the answers elsewhere (apart from a few) are really broken english and shorthanded and unchecked with typos that make them really hard to understand. Thanks!

they might/they might not make you pay to make all of your followers see latest post. plus they are starting their ads service which is also the reason, since they want to earn money from instagram

Your followers are tired of seeing the same pictures accross 20 accounts every day, because everyone is using pics from other accounts.

I'm only noticing minor drops (~5%) on my older accounts.

How old are your accounts btw?

As I said niches are saturated now and you have 100's of accounts posting the same shit everyday.

Cling, I have been searching for this answer as well. Yesterday I read (here, but I forgot what thread) that the algorithms changed in such a way that your posts don't even show up in your followers' feeds as often, nor do they show up as often when searching for hashtags.

So, in other words, say you post a picture today. That picture doesn't show up in all of your followers' feeds like it used to. Only a percentage of your followers see it.

Additionally, let's say you tag your picture with a specific hashtag, and let's say that right now 100 people search for that tag. Not all 100 people will see your post, only a certain percentage of people will see it.

PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT know if this is true, but this is what I was reading yesterday on BHW. I personally find it hard to believe this theory, but it would certainly explain the drop in engagement.

There is nothing new. I've noticed the engagement drop happen at LEAST 1 month ago, when I complained on BHW no one believed me and they told me my account/image quality was the problem. I still see posts on BHW saying that IG didn't change anything, but I'm 100% positive that they did, and keep changing stuff every day. We just don't know it.

Don't believe everything you read on BHW. Most of posts come from knowledge of another post. Therefore if someone posts that my account/image quality was the problem, almost everyone else would follow him on that. The best way to check stuff is to actually test it, which I did
