Are there any sites similar to reddit, that have big traffic?
Of course, not as big as reddit's, but traffic big enough it's worth to try and capitalize on it?

i believe reddit is exactly the same as reddit though

i've never heard of this voat.co either, it looks like 1:1 reddit clone, but it seems to be promising, 90% of the traffic is from tier 1 countries, it's not much yet, but it's a start

I'm not that familiar with the Ellen Pao f-up, but I've noticed that there a lot of shadow banned account around reddit. It happened to one of my accounts.

Digg, HackerNews, Bibsonomy StumbleUpon are some viable choices of Reddit. These social bookmarking destinations are famous and commonsense in the meantime.

I generally discovered StumbleUpon to complex to utilize, Bibsonomy is different to me - I'll look at it, and HackerNews is great, however they're confined to genuine articles, they don't have subreddits (or subcategories whatever).

Reddit is written in Python
