Having trouble with a keyword - any opinions?

this keyword has been having these major drops in ranking and I can't figure out why. Any ideas what would cause a chart to look like this? none of the backlinks ive created have dropped and there are no issues with the site going offline. Thanks guys!

How old is your site as well as your backlinks?

both are fairly new. The site is about 3 months old, but it was a redo of his original website which was several years old. the last backlink I added was probably a month ago. Since I posted it this morning it jumped back up to those original positions but it has been doing this for a while.

Better you wait for 1 month excess, have you doing SEO so far with proper backlinks and tag mentainance?
