I long time didn't use SB but now i want to test out v2 . Anyone is creating tier 1 links with that?
what can v2 also do more than v1 ?

i could be wrong, but not really many people are using scrapebox for tier one if any.

its very dangerous to use scrapebox for tier 1

use PBN and web 2.0 for tier 1

No definitely not. I use it as a research tool I don't go in for spam link building at all. The best links you can get are genuine link backs from people who are interested in your content. I'm not saying spam doesn't work, we know it does but for long term gains it's not worth it.

ScrapeBox can be used to find and filter some of the highest quality links possible. You can classify pages by metrics such as:

Domain PageRank
URL PageRank
Alexa Rank
MozRank
Domain Authority
Page Authority
FaceBook Likes
Google +1 count
Twitter Mentions
Pinterest Pins
LinkedIn Shares
Malware Filter
By country of server IP
Page Dead or Alive
Outbound Link Count
Internal Link Count
Google last cache date
If url contains specific keywords
If url does not contain specific keywords
If page contains bad words

So if you only want to leave comments on pages with a PageRank more than PR5, that have an outbound link count of less than 20, which contains no bad words, plus it has more than 1,000 FaceBook likes and and overall Alexa rank lower than 10,000 with ScrapeBox you can scrape a raw URL list based on keywords and filter it down to only sites and pages matching that criteria. You can also create relevant on topic comments on these pages with the manual poster https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtUotlkVnas instead of mass blasting with the fast poster, or find guest posting opportunities etc the possibilities are endless.

There's tons of ways to utilize ScrapeBox either by itself, or as a part of the overall link building process for Tier 1 sites. ScrapeBox is used extensively by some of the biggest names and companies in the SEO/Marketing/Inbound industry in their day to day operations for link acquisition.

But some people have no idea and think using ScrapeBox involves loading a random 10 million list and clicking blast simply because it's what's easiest and there's zero thought required. I don't recommend you use it like that, especially for T1's there's far better ways it can help you.

This video will also give some clues and perhaps jump start the concept. As metioned above I think most people just don't know. Like the person who said that "scrapebox is out date". V2 is still beta, how can a beta software be out dated, it hasn't even been delcared a final release yet? I mean I know that it has 1.1 million lines of code from scratch and that when you download all the addons and plugins that its nearly 1/4th of a GB in size, all that has been written from scratch, from the ground up in the past year or so, so thats FAR from out dated.

The problem is that too many people think that either a tool is what they think it is, like they get the idea scraepbox is for blog commenting and never stop to look what it can really do, people do this with all kinds of things.

OR the other thing, they think that an seo program is a push button solution that requires no thought or strategy and will become a money tree for them to dominate the SERPs with no effort. Its not just Scrapebox that people think of this as, people do the same with GSA, I have only been using GSA for about a year and 3 months in I was giving advice to people that had been using it much longer, because people just don't stop to learn it.

Anyway, Scrapebox is highly powerful, but its just like any other tool, its only as good as its master.

Its funny I ended up using Scrapebox to find interesting blogs to read and go back and forth with the host through email. Like some souped up targeted G search for my interests. Why Scrapebox is a better search engine than using a g.com search is sad. All the terrible spam sites ranking on garbage get blown out.

I have a question. The link checker in the 64 bit version of SB 2 fails on most sites with an Error -1. SB 1.6 also fails some of the time but not as much as v 2. When GScraper is running, I can scrape the outbound links with that. Do you have any idea why the OBL checker fails?

Its something on your machine/in your network that is messing with the connections. Its most likely security software on your pc that is stopping the connection from being made for 1 reason or another. Make sure you set Scrapebox and the OBL checker as trusted/allowed in all security software.

I use SB on nearly 20 machines and have no issues like this with any functions, its something 3rd party that is interfering. Also you could try shutting down any unneeded programs.
