Should I use a VPS Hosting ?

shared is easier to start with. When you will get more traffic, get good vps.

Since it's your first website, I definitely recommend going with a simple shared hosting plan. Think about whether you're going to upload a lot of images and videos, and calculate approximately how much disk space you need for that. If you're going to primarily use text, you can start with the smallest plan. Goodluck!

It all depends on your needs.The VPS give you the more traffic to your site compared to share hosting. If you have a large website with a lot of traffic then a VPS is the way to go. But if it is a small site with limited traffic then shared would more than likely be ok.If you are just starting out then I would suggest that you go with a shared plan it will be fine for you . But make sure that you can host multiple domains on it otherwise you do not want it ..
As a general rule of thumb, get the best you can afford. For my main business I run it on a VPS, for many of my affiliate sites which are generally wordpress I run on either WPengine or Siteground. Siteground offers great value for money and the bigger packages are lightning fast.

By all means go for VPS, you'll be in control of every aspect of your website. It's harder to learn in the begining but worth the time. Once your website gets some traffic you'll avoid the headache of switching servers. Besides, some VPS are as cheap as shared hosting. Digital Ocean has plans starting from $5.00 to $10.00 and up. And you can upgrade at any time. The $10.00 beats ANY share host in terms of speed, memory, uptime, bandwidth and what not. And don't believe in the share host promise of "unlimited" because such a thing doesn't exist. I went through 3 shared hosts before someone recommended to me VPS. All I can say, I wish I knew about it earlier, it would have saved me a lot of headache.
I was looking at Digital Ocean and it's affordable but it's without CPanel. Obviously with CPanel, you'll pay more.
You can install cpanel without extra cost, I haven't done it, because frankly I don't need it. You can access all backend folders and files with WinSCP if you don't like command line. But if you google around you'll find guides on how to do it. I've been with Digital Ocean since Jan. 2015, best host I ever had, tech support is awesome.
I think that depends on your actual IT knowledge and the time you're willing to spend. For example, with 10 USD / month, you could go for 40 million hits a day on Wordpress. Is that needed? I doubt so. But take it as an example, if you know how to do it, that would be a no brainer, go for a VPS.
But if you are going to spend 10 hours per site installation plus hours trying to troubleshoot everytime something breaks... You have to do your own maths, how much your time is worth
Take in mind that usually VPS are unmanaged, that's it, you can't ask the support guys "how do I install apache" or stuff like that (depends on the provider, anyways)
If you want to make some mouse clicks only, go for a shared hosting. If you know you will need more infrastructure soon or you are used to server administration, go for a VPS, even if you need to hire someone to do the work for you.
Of course, you can always go for a managed VPS. But that's usually way more expensive. And pay special attention to what the provider means with "managed"

Biggest question is - how good are you at maintaining and securing a VPS? If you don't secure the box you will get hacked easily meaning you have a big clean up job on your hands.
If you need special things on a server but don't know how to manage a server then buy a managed server or get someone to look after the server for you.
To be honest, if this is your first site and you are unsure of what kind of traffic you will get, save your money and headaches and start with a shared plan somewhere (don't base that place on price only!). If things go well, go up to a managed / unmanaged plan.
