How he did that? Help Needed!

Hi Fellow,

I recently launched a new site about Football game Predictions etc... I registered a site at 9th of this month and on 10th my friend posted first post about some two teams Match details and prediction. And amazingly that post got indexed without few hours and ranked at first page and I got about 200+ unique visits from it. Obviously my "friend" performed some trick because the site was hardly 2 days old and it has only 2 posts in total. After that I added more 10 articles but never achieved visits more than 50.

Now the problem is my "friend" is not disclosing his "trick". So I'm looking for your expert opinion that what possibly he had done. Any ideas?

PS: Mods, if needed then please move this thread to correct section.

The fact you got it indexed in a few hours is not amazing, it's not unusual at all really...

Your friend could have simply been lucky and wrote an article about a more popular match than the ones you chose.

Are your articles as well written and as structured as his? Did he write more words?

Thanks for quick reply, well yes rest of the articles are equally good/well written and targeted on popular matches but still result is not good as compared to first post.

Depends on the article, It might be some trending topic which you wrote and it got ranked. Seriously, no one can tell you about "How it got ranked?" without seeing/analysing the url.

Well he is confident to repeat this. I'm handing over the site to him and lets see what happen

G is crazy! No one can predict why it happened accurately and for sure not without seeing both URLs.
To mention few basic factors, check his site structure, on page stuff, titles, backlinks(if any) and compare that with your sites metrics and try to evaluate.
