A Noobs Journey Into The Unknow Part 2: Enter The Noob

Some of you may know me from my first journey A Noobs Journey Into The Unknown but most of you probably don't. Sequels have never done very well in the movies generally but I'll try and break that curse. I'm just your average person trying to turn the internet into stable income. My IM experience very little. My first journey thread is about it. I've tried different things but without much thought or follow through and failed. I came back with a different attitude and determination to succeed. My first journey was about trying to get a feel for the landscape. I still don't have much of a clue what I'm doing but the only way I will is by trying trying and trying again.

I haven't given up on my first thread. There's just not that much more I can do with it. I make little tweaks here and there but right now it's about growth and that takes time. I will keep it updated a few times a week. I haven't made a whole heap of money with it, actually I'm still in the red but I feel like the purpose it was made for was a success. I have a very basic understanding of what goes into IM and the time and work that it requires and I'm still determined to make it work.

This journey is going to be very different from my last one in a few ways. My first one was in the adult industry and more of a numbers game. This next one I'm doing is going to be a quality over quantity sort of thing.

The Plan
I will be building a small micro-niche blog. The niche I have chosen according to what's trending on google and something that I like and have a sort of experience with. All 100% unique content written by myself. I will be doing this one wordpress which I have gained a bit of a farmiliarity with from my last journey and a handful of plug-ins. I have a list of keywords and long tail keywords with high amount of monthly searches and low competition. I will be doing on page SEO as perfectly as I can. Wordpress SEO by yoast will be helping me with this. For monetization I will be using google adsense.

What I've done So Far

- Chosen a niche
- Purchased a Domain and hosting
- Keyword Research
- Started to build my site
- Sitemaps have been submitted to google and Bing

What Needs To Be Done

- Finish the general structure of the site
- Optimize the appearance
- Need a logo - I have zero artistic skills in terms of graphic design I will be paying someone to do this
- Apply for adsense


I will be purchasing an SEO service from here to help me rank my keywords and make some social media profiles to help me drive traffic. I'm aiming to be done building the site before the weeks end and then I will be purchasing the SEO package and applying for adsense.

I like your second journey better than your first because on my opinion quality is more important and will sustain ^^
Therefore I "predict" that in this journey you'll be faster in the green.
I'll be building a micro niche site, too, but I'll try to combine it with Clickbank as I have heard a lot of good from earning with Clickbank ^^

Yes my hopes for this journey are higher than the last one still trying to get into the profit on that but I learned a lot and that was the goal. I'll probably
explore some other options for monetization click bank being one of them.

I like journey threads because you can learn a lot from them. I like doing it because it helps me stay focused and accountable.

I have a suggestion that will hopefully give you a head start on your journey.
Instead of starting off with a completely brand new domain, why not go buy a quality expired domain that has some authority. It is a couple hundred dollar investment that is worth it. It is much easier to get the ball rolling if it already has some momentum.

See I thought about that after the fact but when I did an open site explorer to it theres backlinks to it all the way from 2012. The DA is 11 PA is 24

Anyway got the fathers day present bandsaw was on sale at canadian tire he should be happy with that.

I'm just wondering when the best time to apply for adsense is. I didn't want to do it before I had most of the content up on the website or if I should wait to have some consistent traffic.

I did not get as much done yesterday as I wanted. I bought a ps4 last week and I've been having too much fun with it lol. Going to spend the weekend at my parents for fathers day so I'll take my laptop with me and get things done. By the end of sunday I want to be done my website, I'll have my logo in the next 24 hours and I'll apply for adsense. Sunday or Monday I'll purchase the seo package I wanted and it's off to the races.

I'll do testing with some different options and see what works best for me.

Received my logo today very pleased with it. I found the designer here in the market place if you want to to see see who I went with check here. Will be putting together the rest of the basic structure of the site today and doing a final "walk through" to optimize the apperance, navigation etc. I'll also need to gather content for the part of my site thats getting updated regularly. That will probably happen tomorrow. I'll probably put in the application for adsense tomorrow maybe later today.

I need to no waste time work because I've been scatterbrained these last few days lots going on.

Finished the general structure of my site. Purchased my seo package. The only thing that's left to do in terms of building the site is to collect content for the part of the site that will be constantly upated. I'm thinking I will add content once a week in the beginning and then maybe 2 or 3 times a week once it has some consistent traffic.

Very pleased with what I have put together so far. I may wait till I have some more traffic to go for adsense still unsure if anyone has experience with it please let me know your thoughts on the subject.

This might be a little delayed but I didn't notice it till today is your name demon testes as in the plural for testicles lmao made me laugh today.

Plan For The Day

- Gathering content to post today and for the next week or two. As I said before until I have more traffic I'm probably only going to update once or twice a week.

- Apply for adsense. I don't see why I wouldn't get accepted. The only thing I could think of that would be a problem is the fact that I'm getting 5-10 UVs a day. My website looks good it's easy to navigate and it's 100% original. I've read through their TOS and I'm quite confident that getting accepted won't be an issue.

Not really sure what else I could do. I'm sure there's some things I can do to help boost my UVs I'll have to do some more searching around here. I really don't want to make any more social media profiles. I hate social media that's why I chose an SEO package that includes making some profiles.

I'm about ready to put my fist through my computer screen adsense keeps telling me I have an invalid phone number and i'm starting to get really pissed off about it.

Update

I have passed the first application step for adsense now I wait 2-3 days for them to review my site. I don't have much else to say I'm going to be just perfecting and gathering content for my new pages.

Midnight Update

Google fully approved my adsense accounts so were good to go on that front. I've found a clickbank product that fits into my niche very nicely so I've added a page onto my website trying to entice people to the idea then I have a link at the end of the article to the click bank landing page.

I need to start looking into some different ways to drive traffic to might site. Social media instantly comes to mind. But to be honest I hate social media I used fb for a few months almost 10 years ago ( doesn't seem like it's been that long). The first time I used ttwitter was in my last journey. All the pissing around with twitter accounts and tumblr pages and shit like that is just irritating as hell not to mention have accounts get locked proxys blah blah blah you get the point.
