Starting Making Methods blog, help me with the name?

hey guys, I recently posted about my plan to make blog about making money methods and my other adventures in online world and lot of people sent me PM with support, so I decided to start it.

So, I need the name.

I thought this will be easy part but this is so freaking weird.

Every domain name is good, but after some time it become bad when I say it more than 20 times.

Is it right to make myname.com domain, but my surname last letter is (ch) (ć).

So, what would you do?

Is it good thing to brand my name and make myname(and ch on the end).com or is it better to make for ex: moneymethods.com or some other domain like that?

I hope you will help me at this one guys. cheers

Making a domain name from your name would be useful in a lot of ways, for example you will make the visitors feel safe somehow by sharing your name, and it works, and another example is that you will register the domain name easily not like searching for an available domain that has making money keyword.

Just my opinion :)

Yes, I thought so too.

I bought theme and plugins and everything, only this separate me from being online. :)
 
Well, it shouldn't stop you from taking action, give it a try and see what happens :)
 
Deciding upon a domain name is probably the most stressful thing for me when creating a new site, it can take me a week or more before deciding on what i want.


Personally im not sure i would use my name, i generally try to go for something catchy and easy to remember

I usually make niche sites and longtail keywords are mostly my domains.

But here I need something brandable and something catchy.

When you put your name on this type of blog people connect to blog more, because they feel like blog is 'me'.

And when I put makefastmoney.blabla it's like other money making sites.

I really don't know.

maybe to combine my name with some other keyword..
 
There are both successful sites that use their name in the URL and those who don't. I think it is more important to have a picture and about me to increase the connection - I don't really think the URL matters that much. NeilPatel.com uses his name in URL, Backlinko.com doesn't, SmartPassiveIncome.com doesn't. But what all of these have in common is a clear picture of themselves and a background story about who they are and what they come from.

I agree, the search for the perfect domain can be really stressful. While you research for the best domain, start writing blog posts so that you got content to publish when you start! :)

Haha, not sure anymore, I use leandomainsearch.com to generate names and lot of excelent names appears, but it's really hard :(

I will find I nice nime I hope and I will publish blog maybe nex week.

So, I hope there is some forum to publish my blog here. :=)
