Hi guys!

I'm having a problem with picking a winner for my facebook contests. I'm looking for a tool that would pick a random person that liked my page (during the contest period), or that shared my contest post. I'm really not interested in people who like my post or leave comments on it.

I've tested a few services such as AmzTab (this one has an awful random pick algorithm), Good luck fairy, Contest capture or Woobox, but none did the work I expected.

Maybe you have a good service hidden in your pocket and you could share it with me :)

PS: Don't offer me to do this manually. I have about 3-4 contests running per day, and there are too many contestants to process manually.

Thank you!

Maybe give each person a number and use "Link I'm not allowed to quote. Check the original post" (Linkinfo) :)

Although if theres alot of people it'll still be a chore

It has a list randomizer, so you could use that, take all the names and list them, then click randomize, the winner could be the one that hits the top of the list.

This may be useful to you "Link I'm not allowed to quote. Check the original post" (Linkinfo) :)

Hi Hawkster! Yes, random was my first option, but it's too much fuss using it. I still had to copy all the contestants, clean the list, paste them in a doc, assign a number and include all those numbers in random... Oh boy! I already got tired just from writing this :D I need a service that would simply link to my facebookc account/pages, let me pick the contest post and so on.

I actually almost liked AmzTab for how they display the winner, like a widget (that was a big plus because contestants usually ask me for proof that the contest was fair, so it's great if I can send them a nice screen shot).

Thank you! Will take a look at the article! :)

Don't have experience with it but maybe something like this?: "Link I'm not allowed to quote. Check the original post" (Linkinfo) :)

Hey blackerthanblack! That looks interesting. Will definitely look into it! Thank you!
