I hadn't built a new site for awhile, but did so last week.

I added about 30 posts 6 days ago, check site:domain.com to see most pages have been indexed. However, these posts are nowhere to be seen in Google. This is even when I type in a post title in quotes and there's only a couple of pages of results. The domain has been used before but doesn't look spammy or penalized.

Is this normal nowadays?

your page is probably ranking in 68584847th page and thats pretty normal.

If they are indexed but not ranking you may need to look at on page seo. Should check out phpbuilt's thread on it.

Just wait some times this could be happen. Built variety of backlinks to diversity and content should be in unique. And built links for your site with correct keywords what you are given in meta tags.

Yes Rank 360 as well keep concentrate in ON PAGE SEO, keywords as others said, mainly check your link that should be proper and correct.
So that wait for a days. You may have more back links that inflating rank as well traffic.

mate it will take more than 15 days it depends on your site, keywords you chose, so don't worry

you need backlink for your post bro, indexed its just one factor to get page 1

I'm going through the same thing. I was lucky to be able to get a really good domain name for regular price and I can't even rank in top 50 for that name (it gets over 3500 searches a month). It's been a month now. And I've done all SEO optimizing and have good content on my site. It's a bit frustrating.

6 days is simply not long enough.
Plus you should at least build some backlinks to give it a start in life.

This is normal. I was in the same situation more times - my new website got indexed, then it also got ranked after a few days. And if it does not get ranked, you will need some backlinks and that will help to get it ranked.

From my experience I would say that it is pretty chanceless if you don't have any backlinks to juice your site. Maybe it would work in a very specific niche when the competition is low with only on-site SEO.
