This week, I was "the chosen" and one of my twitter accounts (adult niche, with 30K+ followers - but only 6K human) was banned. :-(

Well, that was my main adult account and I don't know what to do yet. I guess my mistake was setting up tumblr queue to post 50 posts daily - and all of those posts were tweeted automatically, by using IFTTT. All of those posts belonged to same tumblr blog, so I guess it was my huge "automation" footprint.

Don't you need to provide a twitter API key in order to use IFTTT?
If so that could also have been a foot print.

Happened exactly the same thing to me but with a smaller account with around 2000 followers all human, and around 20-30 posts daily... they banned it in less than 7 days after I started to use IFTTT.

Don't you need to provide a twitter API key in order to use IFTTT?
If so that could also have been a foot print.

I think it's just automatic. I think that if you target the followers of a large company, that large company is likely to have bought a lot of fake followers, then you follow them and it gets you flagged... just happened to me... now I can only follow like 75 a day instead of 1000... on my other account I can only follow 3 users until it loads my news feed screen then I have to hit the back button and scroll down again to follow 3 again... and they are always asking for my phone numbers... I think it's because I got a new computer that's much faster so I can follow more users easier, my old PC was way old... and I got flagged for going too fast... my accounts are all real and singular - one for each of my companies so I'm not spamming or anything at all, so I've emailed support to get them to unblock me since I'm not breaking any TOS.

how much accounts are you running?
i use the same links on 6 accounts but no issue yet, each of my accounts has 13k - 15k followers.

That's what got you banned. As long as you're using proxies, you should be able to intermingle retweets and favorites between all your accounts.

what's considered different tweets? are there definable criteria?
i moved the words around, but they all begin with the same 4 words.

i have not gotten banned, but i think twitter ghosts my tweets?
