Guide: Instagram Limits // Strategy to keep account safe

Loads and loads of threads on the topic recently in regards to Instagram and how to keep an account safe.

I hope this guide can clear the air and help keep your account safe:

An account's age

An accounts age is usually the reason for an account being banned, i've tested out some accounts and these were the limits i found to help keep your account safe.

New Accounts limits:

30 Following per hour
5 Comment per hour (different comments)
100 Likes per hour

Old Accounts Limits (1 month +):

75 Following per hour
15 Comment per hour (different comments)
250 liker per hour

Please make sure whenever you choose to comment on an account, make sure you choose 10+ different comments and they're spun.


With regards to new accounts as well, before you use a tool make sure the account is populated e.g. 5 pictures minimum uploaded plus bio and profile picture.

Any questions about the limits, please leave a comment! - These limits were found from my clients and with profiles I've ran from my 3+ years involved in Instagram.

I'd go for lower rates per hour in the beginning. Just phone verify and let them run for some days straight, then you can raise up. Great reference point for newbies though!

True, a new account is when its most vulnerable to being banned. The user has to accept small amounts of growth - no worries glad i can help some people.

Do you run 30 follows, 5 comments, and 100 likes an hour for 24 hrs? Or do you set a daily limit as well?
What delay between each action do you use? Do you match it to maximum follow 30 an hour (120 sec minimum between each follow), or do you set it like to 60 seconds minimum delay, and then run a 30 min break between each run?

how about links I have an account with 4.7k followers with a link it not banned but I'm not using any bot on it

but I open a other account recently I put a link and ran the bot on low setting and still got banned

do you think instagram is banning people that using a bot and have a link inside their profile.. ?

True, the way Instagram is acting now and how strict they're. A safe figure would be around 20.

Although what I found out is it's better to start slower (only uploading in the first few days), then you can increase a little amount every day until around your numbers. That's what worked for me at least.

Manually the hour limit for follow is 50.. And I dont have a new account
