Facebook Custom Audience with @facebook.com dead?

Yes it's dead since the 4th of june I think. They don't support any vanity URLs for retargeting anymore.

Super bummer. It cut my marketing expenses by 70%.

Any new tricks for driving traffic from fb beside normal advertising?

Supposedly you are suppose to now target "interests" but in all honesty I think that FB marketing is going to take a big dump on quality. The new interests is just another name for broad traffic targeting, with the same pricing as laser targeting. Unless they edit it or you can segment out all the bullshit bot traffic, its useless.

I was setting up an ad campaign for weeks based on custom lists and ppfffiou this method vanished. I hate FB, they will sell their crappy broadmatch traffic only and the results will suck hard. What made FB ads interesting in pinpoint targeting is dead.

so other programer told me they working on script to flip from FB id to Emails that on users and then upload as audiences ... that the only light i heard

When you built a personal mailing list over the years and want to reach them via FB and this option no longer exists, it's not a matter of being pathetic or pussies, we are talking about losing our main targets. And even if I target my audience with "people" who live on "earth" who like "life", 100% sure it's going to cost me way more money than just uploading my website mailing list

yeah this is a heavy hit, we just started using it recently and i'm kicking myself, but i cant imagine the stress some people are going through, as they feel their life is over....lol
