Instagram blocking new followers?

I think IG has cracked down a LOT on comments. And IG pays more attention to the less-aged accounts and the smaller ones. I'm not sure if IG may do this.. it's just a guess. Maybe instead of outright blocking your comments, they let them "pass". They're ghost comments. Only you see them, but no one else does. This reduces spam. I know reddit does that a lot.

On my new, smaller accounts I was getting 200 followers/day until 4 days ago when I've only been gaining around 30 with the same settings, for some reason. No idea what's happening, may just be bad luck or something IG have done?
Edit: FL was, I think, telling me on its statistics it was following people but wasn't and seems to have caught up with itself today

how old is your account? I havent followed for 5 days now (been unfollowing) but I am still gaining followers naturally
bwman, I started 3 years ago on instagram, and last monday someone login in my account and post a LOGO of a company, i immediately changes the password and logout, so i login again and delete the picture posted by a hacker, but since then my number of followers stop to raise, and i dont gain any follower anymore. This ruinning me and i dont know what to do.(sorry for the poor english)

might b a problem with the comment rather that blocking new followers as it would be harder to do that, if people want to follow you why would they block that... I guess Ig is doing some changes lately, we'll have to wait and see what they come up with..
