Is it worth starting with Clickbank again?

I was wondering if anyone could just give me some advice on how to make some money with clickbank. I tried in the past and could get alot of clicks on my affliliate links but could never get a sale. I know the basics of clickbank and the common methods to make money but have never had any luck with it. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hi OP,

Yes it is totally worth it.

However, firstly.. you have to STAY FOCUS and never give up. FYI, I failed 3times (3websites and almost about $1.5k down the drain) before I finally learn how I can promote CB products.

I've learned that the best way to promote a CB product is to be HONEST and you have to presell it well. Don't exaggerate.

Make yourself different from other affiliates. Don't make yourself sound like an affiliate (that's how I felt when I read 99% of the CB affiliate websites).

Here's a few pointers:

How I Write My Money Articles:
I just put my real life experience to use in my sites. Just imagine, if you were to go to a computer shop. The salesman will always say good things about almost all the products they are selling. Am I right?

Now imagine instead of asking that salesman or in a computer shop, you are asking your friend or relative about a solution or for something. They won't directly ask you to buy ONE product. Am I right? They will give you a list of solutions and recommendations. But they won't tell you to buy it. They will just say "oh yeah, I've used this product xxx, it's good. I got it from xxx." Am I right?

Does it make sense now?

So what I'll do is.. I will give them solutions.. maybe 3-4 solutions.. I will put the product that I'm affiliated with in the first solution or the last solution.... Don't put it in the middle.. just put it first or last. I read somewhere about how online readers will only click first or last link.

Besides linking to your cb product, I also link it to authoritative websites such as wikipedia, webmd and etc. Any authority links that are not selling any product

I guess that what makes people trust you more, you get what I mean.

See, most of the CB review site are afraid to link to other authority websites because they are afraid to leak sales.. They don't gain trust from readers.. They are too hard up for sales. Give your readers value, they will give you money

How I Choose CB Product
I've converted products that are in the gravity of 5 - 110. And honestly the ones that are converting like 75% of the time are products that are in the gravity range of 20-30 for me

How I choose them:
1) After identifying my keywords, I search for my product. My gravity range filter will be 5-110. I will set it from lowest to highest.
2) Go to their sales page, if it sucks on 1st impression I will just close the page.
3) If their sales page impress me, I will read or listen to what they say.
4) If their sales page impress me + I like how they sell their product, I will email seller to ask for a review copy. 80% they will reply with a free review copy. Another 10% who replied but said they don't give review copy but willing to give coupons/discounts, I will buy. Another 10% probably won't even reply, I ignore them.
5) After getting a copy, I read and learn their product. If it's useful, I will promote. If it's bullshit, I will skip.

Two words: targetted traffic.

If all your visitors want something and you ofer that specific item, at a decent price, chances are you'll do ok with CB.

That and influenced traffic.

You have them targeted, but you also influence them to buy whether with proof, demonstration, or connecting with them on a personal level so you establish a sense of trust.

Some funky shit like that.

Anyone can be interested in a product for training their dog, making them targeted.

But if you don't influence them to buy somehow, then they won't convert well.

Either a youtube video, a good landing page or w.e

Think outside the box when doing this.

I understand the concept of influenced traffic. My weakness is in designing a landing page for them to go through and where to market it at. I'm gonna give clickbank another go hopefully ill get lucky this time with a little more motivation.

As mentioned, you need top presell, not hard sell. hard selling should be done on the actual sales page, you're just "warming the prospect up".

This works well with video. If you have some cash to spend, make a video, and rank it for a buyer keyword on Youtube. All you should be doing is pointing them in the right direction, not screaming at them to buy said product. Hope that helps

Anyways you might want to consider CB+YT or CB+Bing ads.
