adword low conv rate| not sure what to do

hey guys,i've tested my ad\landing page with around 25$ on adwords
i've got 100clicks~ but the cov rate is way too low

my ad had 6% click avg rate but people didnt join my email list for some reason
i am not sure why, i've tried 50clicks on my old landing page and then i changed it up and made sure everything is looking
good and works and tried again.

i've tried the other 50 clicks on the new landing page and
from all of those clicks i got only 4 people to join my list
i am not sure whats going on .

17 inactive subscribers - they filled the info but didnt confirm the email...

i am using get response auto responder.
i am not sure if i am doing something wrong or those people are retarded... (yet 4 people did join my email list)


should i buy ads from another site or should i continue using adwords for promoting my landing page?

This is the first thing I'd be looking into. Add the 4 others and you got 21 out of 50 people to signup. That is huge.
What's stopping them from confirming? I'd be working on improving that before changing anything else. You should be able to get substantially higher than what you're getting now. Check the subject/headline and body copy you're using. Are you losing them there? This is the place to start split testing. The other possibility is that your email provider isn't getting the confirmations out properly. They could be in the spam folder.

This is a much bigger gain than changing traffic sources.

Agree. There appears to be something stopping them and saying "screw this". No matter how much somebody wants something, if you don't make it easy for them to get it, they'll just leave. It could be a lot of things, a slow site, convoluted procedure, maybe the way you are saying something.

At least it seems you are doing something right in bringing them to your page with proper keywords or targeting and appealing ads. So it's not the traffic source and in fact, you should try others, once you fix the signup issue.

i am trying another 50clicks today,
i've changed the thank you page

i will try it out, if the subscription confirmation will stay low
i will try aweber instead of getresponse

(its really wierd,i am targeting the right keywords and i've got a great ad and a beautiful landing page
but something is stopping them from confirming...)
