Do you still write articles for hubpages? Is it still worth? Also is it still good to bring traffic to your main website? Thanks

Is hubpages made by hubspot?

If so it's probably an overpriced, overhyped piece of garbage.

hubpages is like a web 2.0 on steroids. They have very strict writing conditions, and every article gets reviewed. Your profile has to be over a certain score before you get a dudafollow link.

Please back your statement up with proof. OP asked if anyone made money with Hubpages, not your opinion about them.

OP, I get a few hits a day to my website from my Hubpages article. Although, I think it could do much better if I put some time into picking out keywords and stuff for it. I built it because of the backlink, not to get hits directly from it.

Thanks man, for backlinks it seems good. I don't know how much money you can earn from hubpages writing some articles..

in my experience hubpages is a waste of time as a source of income, unless you can hook up with people to write hubs for them, but you have to be real careful to not be "too promotional" or use back links they don't like. I've got over 100 hubs, some have been hub of the day, but still rarely get more than a few hundred visits per day and very rarely get a click through to ebay or amazon. On a good month it brings in like $25. It's great to back link to my other work, I've been able to sell hubs to a few people but have not had a success with hubs in general, through their ad program or ebay/amazon.

Ok, so I think a micro niche blog can make more money than that.

Hubpages is a waste of time. Focus on creating content on your own sites instead, don't be a cog in Hubpages' money machine.

All of that is true, but to answer OP, I have never paid more than a few pennies with hubpages

Hubpages is very reputed blogging site which has always good amount of traffic so IMO it is worth.

Yes for traffic is good, but I think for earning money it isn't, better to own a micro niche blog.

I earn about $50 a month from hubpages, and the amount of work involved in getting there is just not worth it. Now I use them as part of my web2.0 strategy, which for future ref you get a d0 follow link if your profile score is above 85

hubpages are dead along with every other content farm.
I think the only one making money but has high quality requirements is about.com. They got hit with Panda but eventually recovered.
Hubpages did the same as Suite101 and let the crap writers in and it soon went into the crapper.

On the flip side, one of the best tutorials for this spot in Zelda I was trying to beat and couldn't find the answer to was on hubpages lol

I was never really pleased with hubpages. I did not much care for them as I was not making the money that I know that I am worth.
