Keywords, Where/How to place ?

Hey Guys,

I've done some keyword research.
But now I need to know how/where to place them should i make an about page that has some of em in them.
Also some of em are just bad english so using that in an about page wont work.

What type of website is this ? static or Dynamic ?
are you using a CMS like wordpress ?
If yes , there are plug in out there to handle SEO ..


if your site is static ,(Basic HTML/ CSS ) then you need to place the keywords in the title , meta tags , add in in anchor tag ,also use some different formatting headers like H1 , H2 , H3 etc ..overall , increase keyword density per page .There are some firefox plug in to calculate keyword density as well .
add some image per page if possible and use the "alt" tag !

it's a wordpress blog with over 500 posts.
Problem is i like to keep my tags clean, and google doesnt look at the meta keywords.

Download the platinum seo plugin for wordpress. It will do the job.

I already have it, where should i put them ? in the Home Keywords (comma separated)?

It's important that you understand WHY things work or not. Search G for SEO articles or even better search this forum. Tons of factors is important in SEO. Mainly I would say backlinks. Create a linkwheel (search for it here). Maybe do some yahoo answers post and reply.

Ye am working on that, but one of the things you need for good search engine listing is good keywords, and I have a few that get searched a decent amount of times a day/month. So I need to know how to implement em.

so I guess i should just put em in the meta tags field ?
